4. Enquiries & Bookings

Submitting an enquiry through this website, by email, telephone, social media or another communication method does not automatically create a confirmed booking.

A booking will only be considered confirmed once The Backyard Bartenders has provided confirmation and any required booking conditions, deposits or payments have been satisfied.

The services included in your booking, event date, location, timings, pricing and any other relevant requirements should be confirmed as part of your individual booking agreement.

Additional booking terms may apply depending on the service being provided.

5. Prices & Payments

Prices for our services may vary depending on factors including the type of service required, event location, duration, number of guests, staffing requirements, equipment requirements and any additional services requested.

Any quotation provided will outline the price and services applicable to your individual enquiry.

Where a deposit or advance payment is required to secure a booking, the relevant amount and payment terms will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.

Any additional charges or costs that may apply will be communicated where reasonably possible before they are incurred.

6. Cancellations & Changes

Cancellation and amendment terms may vary depending on the nature of the booking and will be communicated as part of the booking process.

If you need to cancel, postpone or make significant changes to an event, please contact The Backyard Bartenders as soon as possible.

Changes to event dates, locations, times, guest numbers or service requirements may be subject to availability and may result in changes to the original quotation.

Where The Backyard Bartenders is unable to provide an agreed service due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will communicate with the customer as soon as reasonably possible and discuss the options available.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

7. Alcohol & Responsible Service

Where our services involve the preparation, service or promotion of alcoholic beverages, The Backyard Bartenders supports the responsible consumption of alcohol.

Alcohol will not knowingly be served to anyone under the legal drinking age or where doing so would be unlawful.

We reserve the right to refuse the service of alcohol where we reasonably believe that:

  • A person is under the legal drinking age and cannot provide acceptable proof of age.
  • A person is excessively intoxicated.
  • Serving alcohol would be unsafe or unlawful.
  • A person’s behaviour presents a risk to themselves, our staff, other guests or property.

Event organisers are responsible for ensuring that appropriate permissions, licences or venue approvals required for their event are in place unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing with The Backyard Bartenders.

8. Customer & Event Organiser Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when making an enquiry or booking, including information relating to the venue, event date, timings, expected guest numbers and any relevant access requirements.

The customer or event organiser is also responsible for providing a safe and suitable working environment for our staff and equipment.

Any specific requirements relating to access, electricity, water, workspace, parking, setup or other facilities should be discussed before the event.

9. Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Customers should inform The Backyard Bartenders in advance of any known allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements that may be relevant to the drinks or services being provided.

While reasonable care may be taken when preparing and serving drinks, allergens may be present within bar environments, ingredients or equipment.

Customers and guests with serious allergies should make their requirements known before consuming any drink where there may be uncertainty regarding its ingredients.

10. Glassware & Equipment

Where glassware, bar equipment or other items are supplied as part of a booking or hire service, customers are expected to take reasonable care of those items.

Specific terms relating to breakages, loss, damage, deposits, collection or return of hired equipment may be provided as part of the relevant quotation or booking agreement.

Charges may apply for lost or damaged hired equipment where permitted under the applicable booking terms.
